American Library in Paris 2026 Book Award Longlist
Jane Rogoyska’s ‘Hotel Exile’ has been selected for the American Library in Paris 2026 Book Award Longlist.
Created in 2013, the Book Award builds on the Library’s century-long tradition of bringing France, its culture and history into dialogue with the wider world. It is open to books in all genres, originally published in English.
The Book Award is chaired by John Burnham Schwartz, author of six acclaimed novels, including The Red Daughter, The Commoner, and Reservation Road, which was adapted into a film. He also serves as the longtime Literary Director of the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference and is Executive Editor at Penguin Press.
The shortlist will be revealed in September, and the winner will be announced at a ceremony in Paris in November.
