Teaching & the Royal Literary Fund

Jane Rogoyska has been involved with the Royal Literary Fund since 2013, serving as an RLF Writing Fellow at Greenwich University, the Royal College of Music, the School of Advanced Study at University of London, and the Courtauld Institute of Art. RLF Writing Fellows work throughout the UK in universities across the sector, helping students with their academic writing on a one-to-one basis. They complement other forms of support for writing development from a unique perspective as professional writers.

Between 2016-19 Jane co-ran a teenage literacy workshop for Year 12 students at Regent High School, Camden, and in 2019-20 worked as part of a small team of editors to create a new RLF-supported website offering a guide to academic writing for undergraduate students. After a delay due to Covid, ‘Ask the Elephant’ launched in 2023: https://asktheelephant.org.uk

In 2015 & 2018 Jane was commissioned by the RLF to make a series of films promoting the Fellowships. These can be viewed here and here.
